I found the room spacious and comfortable, which was crucial for my restful stay. Despite the unsavoury stains on the carpet and an iron and ironing board that seemed ready for the dump, the overall ambience was very quiet and neat enough for my needs.

Location - magnificent and wonderful, next to taxis as well as many Melbourne attractions. Also, to the restaurants in St Kilda particularly Acland Street. Good-sized, brand-new units provided with Comfortable bed and a wonderful bottle plus ironing board.

The hotel is located right across from a beautiful park, making it a lovely spot for a morning stroll. We loved the large beds in our room and the strong Wi-Fi was a real plus-perfect for streaming our favorite shows! Plus, the breakfast had some great fresh fruits and juices that kicked off our day nicely.
The room had dust everywhere, and we found some questionable stains on the sheets. To top it off, the air conditioning barely worked, leaving us sweating at night! Service was also lacking; it felt like no one really cared about our concerns. Not the romantic escape we had hoped for!

Location, the view of Albert Park ( a pleasant walk takes only an 1hour to completely walk around), the choice of a restaurant or cafe style meals , valet parking option, a great gym/pool/sauna area, friendly staff, taxis rank at the door and is in walking distance to The Alfred hospital,
For the standard of accommodation there was no blender in bar for cocktails-why not?

I gotta say, the location is solid! Super close to the park and just a hop to some great dining options. The breakfast buffet was a highlight-so much variety and everything tasted fantastic. I also loved the comfy bed; after long days of celebrating, it was perfect for catching up on sleep!
Now, for the downside. We had some real issues with the service. Staff weren't very helpful when we had a problem with our room, and getting the right bedding felt like pulling teeth. On top of that, my checkout experience was a mess with weird charges to my card that I didn’t even make. Not exactly the way to kick off the new year!

The breakfast we ordered was good and delicious. The place had a contemporary atmosphere. Central location adjacent to trams to city and Southbank and the lake, it was in a very nice area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was excellent, the size and everything about it was great. This comment is made due to comparing this room with another in the same area which was more expensive and like a shoe box. I will definitley be staying at the Sebel again
The only thing I found and it was very minor, was the milk that was in the fridge was 3 months old

I particularly appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, who ensured my room was ready early, allowing me to freshen up before an event.
The room needed maintenance, as the hand basin was cracked.

The bed situation was a nightmare-two singles pushed together but not secured, which made for an awful night's sleep. Plus, the pillows felt like rocks! Honestly, I expected way better comfort for the price we paid.

The concierge by the name of David. He knows EVERYTHING. He is a great resource. Very helpful.
The staff gave directions that were not quite right. For example, there was a way from the lifts directly to the conference ballroom but the staff asked the hotel guests to go via a long way to get to the ballroom. When asked if there is a shorter way, the answer was no. One hotel staff also gave directions to get to the tram station via the front entrance of the hotel when there is in fact a shorter route via the back entrance of the hotel (a public accessible big back entrance).
